AI FOR YOUR CAREER / LESSON 4

Create a resume and apply with AI

Start from a factual master profile, then select the evidence relevant to each job. AI can improve organization and wording; your qualifications must remain your own.

Career evidence: real experience, a work sample, a clear story.

Work through the steps

  1. Build a master record of employers, titles, dates, responsibilities, achievements, and supporting evidence. Use the career profile to keep a reviewed source of truth.
  2. Paste a job description alongside selected achievements. Ask for a requirement-to-evidence table before a resume draft. Leave out unsupported qualifications.
  3. Write clear accomplishment bullets with action, context, and a verified result. When you have no numbers, describe scope and an observable outcome. Never ask AI to invent metrics.
  4. Export in the format requested by the employer. Read the document as plain text, confirm dates and contact details, and check the portal preview. Answer eligibility and screening questions yourself, review every attachment, then submit and record the date.

Tailor my resume using only the master facts below. First map job requirements to evidence. Then draft a concise resume and a short cover letter connecting two real examples to the role. Mark missing facts [VERIFY]. Do not upgrade titles, invent numbers, add tools I have not used, or claim experience I do not have. [Job description + master facts.]

Before you call it finished

Can you defend every sentence in an interview? Did the upload preserve headings, dates, and text order? Have you removed every [VERIFY] marker?
