Know where things stand.
Choose your next step.
Keep opportunities, application stages, and follow-up plans together. Save a backup you can reopen and review one manageable improvement each week.
Your next step
Start where you need help. Other tools open in a new tab to keep your current work open; entries do not transfer automatically.
Before closing a tool, download your work. The career profile also offers optional device saving; the application tracker needs its own downloaded backup.
Add an opportunity, choose a next action, then download your backup. Your entries stay in this page's memory. To continue another day, restore the JSON backup file you saved. There is no account or automatic saving.
This tracker holds up to 100 opportunities. It does not check application status, send reminders, contact employers, or run AI. Follow-up dates are your own planning notes; follow the employer's actual instructions.
Entries and restored files are not uploaded or sent to JobCoach, MailerLite, analytics, or an AI service. Backups contain your notes as readable text. Store them somewhere appropriate and keep unnecessary contact details or confidential information out.
Keep your tracker between visits
Download a JSON backup after changes. Restore that file to continue later. Text summaries and printouts are for reading; they cannot be restored here.
Choose a JobCoach tracker JSON file, up to 2 MB. You will review the entry count before replacing the current tracker. Selecting a file does not upload it.

Your opportunities
Start with one real opportunity, or restore a backup above.
Your weekly review
Entries without an application date are excluded from the seven-day count. Current stages do not show when a conversation or interview happened.
Dated next actions to review
These open entries have a date today or earlier. Check whether the action is still appropriate. Closed entries are excluded.
Optional AI review prompt
This prompt contains summary counts only. Employer names, role titles, posting references, dates for individual entries, and notes are excluded. Current-stage counts are not a history of interview or offer conversion rates. Review the prompt before sharing it with an AI assistant you choose.
My application tracker
Make a ten-minute weekly review useful
- Update facts. Record replies, interviews, closures, and instructions you actually received. Keep pending applications separate from confirmed decisions.
- Review next actions. Follow an employer's stated timeline. A date in this tracker is a reminder to consider an action, not a reason to send repeated messages.
- Choose one improvement. Recheck role fit, prepare a clearer example, practice an answer, or ask one useful question. A small number of applications cannot prove why a search is stalled.
- Plan a realistic week. Choose actions that fit your available time and energy. Download a fresh backup before leaving.
Where can AI help?
Use the summary prompt to organize questions and plan an experiment. For message drafting, supply a separate, accurate brief with identifying details removed. Verify names, claims, timing, and the employer's instructions yourself before sending. See the AI workflow (new tab).
A fictional example
You applied for a coordinator role on Monday and were told to expect an update the following week. Record that instruction and choose a review date after the stated window. If no message arrives, keep the status as Applied until you have new information; decide whether one brief follow-up is appropriate.
